Coussin Double-Coeur tuto / Double-hearted cushion tutorial

La Saint-Valentin approche et vos envies de tendresse remontent à la surface ? Faites une surprise à votre chéri(e) et offrez-lui un coussin double-coeur. Le message est on ne peut plus clair ;-)

Ce coussin pourrait aussi plaire à des jeunes filles au coeur tendre !



Vous aurez besoin :

- de tissu (ici assorti au dessus de lit, aux coussins carrés, à la boîte à mouchoirs et au pot en tissu...)
- de fil assorti
- de toute les décorations dont vous pouvez avoir envie (appliqués, rubans, dentelles, broderie...)
- de rembourrage pour coussins
- du patron à télécharger ici

Etape 1 : couper le patron en double (en inversant le sens si vous voulez que le tissu soit le même des deux côtés. Ici j'ai coupé deux fois dans le même sens pour faire un coussin bicolore).

Etape 2 : Une fois vos embellissements cousus sur l'endroit, coudre tout autour sur l'envers, en laissant un espace de quelques centimètres pour retourner le coussin.



Etape 3 : Remplir la première moitié du coussin de rembourrage, en le poussant bien dans les coins, puis coudre en arrondi pour compléter le premier coeur.








Etape 4 : Remplir le reste du coussin, puis coudre l'ouverture à points cachés.

You'll need :
- fabric (here it matches the bed cover, the square cushions, the tissue box, the fabric pot)
- matching thread
- any embellishment you will think of (appliques, ribbons, laces, embroideries...)
- padding for cushions
- printed pattern that you can find here

Step 1 : cut the pattern twice (you'll have to revert the pattern if you want the same fabric on both sides. Here, I cut twice in the same side, to get a two-colored cushion)

Step 2 : Once your embellishments are sewed on the right side, sew all around, fabric wrong side out, leaving two inches to turn the cushion on the right side.

Step 3 : Fill in the first part of the cushion, putting the padding in the angles, then sew a curve to complete the first heart.

Step 4 : Fill in the rest of the cushion, then sew the openin using hidden points.

You're done !
