T-shirt transformé en jupe / From a t-shirt to a skirt

Autant ma 2e et ma 3e n'arrivent pas en une saison à mettre tous les vêtements qui traînent dans leurs armoires (et j'exagère à peine), autant la grande est souvent en manque de vêtements. Ils grandissent trop vite ces enfants !

J'avais vu au gré des mes balades sur Pinterest ce tuto pour créer une jupe à partir d'un t-shirt trop grand chez Sew like my mom :























L'idée est simple et les explications lumineuses !
Je n'avais encore jamais fait de smocks et j'angoissais un peu à l'idée du résultat, mais j'avais tout le matériel sous la main : une bobine de fil élastique et un t-shirt bien trop grand pour ma fille et pour cause, il s'agissait d'un de mes t-shirts d'allaitement (ça c'est fini pour moi).
J'ai donc suivi le tuto à la lettre, me contentant de rajouter deux bandes de jersey cousues verticalement en guise de décoration et pour cacher une petite tâche. Pas besoin de coudre les bordures en jersey, puisqu'il ne va pas s'effilocher.

C'est un projet à refaire, tant il est simple et tant d'après mon modèle, la jupe est confortable !

I had seen this tutorial on Sew like my mom, that I saw everywhere on Pinterest, and that explains how to sew a skirt for an oversized shirt.
The idea is simple and the explanations so clear !
I had never make any shirring and was somewhat anxious about that, but I had anything I needed : elastic thread and an old t-shirt, that was far to big for my daughter, as it was on of my feeding shirt (I won't need it anymore).
So I followed the tutorial, just adding to vertical ruffles on the side, to hide a little stain.
You don't need to sew the borders as the jersey doesn't fray.

It is such an easy sewing, that I think I'm gonna make several of them, and I have to add a comment from my model, who says it is very comfy !
